Initiated in 2006 by the German Ministry for the Environment (MoE), the NanoDialogue project involved a national dialogue with stakeholders to discuss the introduction of nanotechnologies into products and processes. After more than 15 years of intensive discussions between stakeholders from industry, science, the authorities and civil society organizations, the MoE is ending its sponsorship of the NanoDialogue with this international conference on nanomaterials, organized in cooperation with the German Association for Nanomaterials.OECD.

The conference aims to facilitate an exchange on the successes and limitations of governance approaches and sustainable uses of nanomaterials. To this end, we will explore how to address the benefits and risks of nanomaterials by discussing examples from around the world, including legislative approaches, standardization and stakeholder engagement.
It is in this context, and in the context of exchanges initiated with theOECD and the German Ministry of the Environment that the NanoMesureFrance association has been invited to take part in this international conference to be held in Berlin on June 22 and 23, 2023.
