Cosmetics Working Group

The aim of this group is to enable cosmetics players to express the specific needs of their sector. Exchanges mainly concern the identification of nanomaterials within a regulatory framework for mixtures of different substances typical of cosmetic ingredients, and the question of the stability of pearlescent pigments. Interactions with the Chemistry and Materials WG take place on a regular basis.

Main actions :

- Sharing information on available analytical methods and approaches,

- Production of a harmonized questionnaire to check the completeness of information received from producers and distributors of substances used to identify nanomaterials.
