NANOMET

Launched in 2014 with funding from the Direction Générale des Entreprises (DGE), the NANOMET project was coordinated by LNE with the participation of CEA (Plateforme de NanoSécurité / Grenoble), the Centre des matériaux de Mines ParisTech and the SME Nanoceram.

Its aim was to support French SMEs in their efforts to characterize substances in nanoparticle form, by proposing reference protocols validated by inter-laboratory comparison for different measurement techniques used to determine their size distribution (SEM, TEM, AFM, DLS) or specific surface area (BET). These protocols have been tested on some twenty samples supplied by French start-ups and SMEs.
